American Hustle Photos: Bradley Cooper with a Fro!

The last time David O. Russell and Bradley Cooper teamed up, their film Silver Linings Playbook earned a ton of Oscar nominations, including one for Cooper! Their next film, American Hustle, has released its first stills and you have never seen Cooper like this… and for that matter Christian Bale and Amy Adams.

American Hustle Bradley Cooper Christian Bale

Russell, Cooper, Bale and Adams go back to the 1970s for their tale, and those three big stars are merely the tip of the iceberg when it comes to A-list talent in American Hustle. Jeremy Renner, Robert De Niro, Louis C.K. and Michael Pena are just a few of the other superstars filling out the cast.

The film is a fictionalized version of the late 1970s, early 1980s sting operation that became known as Abscam. Bale is a New Yorker who makes his living as an art thief (Adams is his love interest). Cooper is the FBI agent investigating him. Renner is a New Jersey city mayor and apparently the Mob doesn’t like the FBI working on their turf so much. We’re guessing De Niro has something to do with that!

American Hustle Amy Adams Christian Bale

No release date for American Hustle has arrived yet, but as soon as it does -- and we’re predicting a trailer around that time -- we’ll bring it to you.

Until then, enjoy the look of Cooper with some serious spray tan action.

Thor The Dark World: Trailer Arrives August 7, Cast Back for Reshoots

There’s good news, and there’s bad news when it comes to Thor: The Dark World. Well, honestly the bad news isn’t really that bad. Well, let’s start with the good: Thor: The Dark World will have its new trailer premiere August 7 and we cannot wait to see more from the film that was supposed to be at Comic-Con and whose appearance never really materialized.

We expect to be blown out of the water even more than we were for the first Thor: The Dark World trailer.

Chris Hemsworth Thor: The Dark World

Now, here’s the bad news that really isn’t all that bad: The cast and crew of Thor: The Dark World have to go back for some reshoots. Star Kat Dennings was talking to IGN and admitted that there were some things that filmmakers wanted to tweak. Now, there was a time when reshoots were the dirtiest of words in Hollywood. But now, films go back for reshoots all the time and it is not necessarily a death sentence for a film.

Heck, The Avengers went back for a reshoot and it was merely to add that restaurant scene that was utterly priceless!

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty Trailer: Ben Stiller Remakes a Classic

The first trailer for Ben Stiller’s reimagining of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty has landed and not a moment too soon. Since Movie Fanatic heard that Stiller was directing and starring in the film that was a classic vehicle for Hollywood icon Danny Kaye, we couldn’t wait to see what Stiller would come up with. After all, in many ways, Stiller is a modern version of Kaye.

The first trailer for The Secret Life of Walter Mitty has landed and it shows off not only Stiller’s wicked wit, but also his co-stars Kristen Wiig, Shirley MacLaine, Parks and Recreation star Adam Scott, Kathryn Hahn and Sean Penn.

The film is based on the short story by James Thurber that follows a day-dreamer who constantly escapes into a world he has created that only exists in his mind. His dreams are the exact opposite of his real life as they are filled with romance, adventure and thrills.

In Stiller’s version, Mitty brings his day-dreaming world to life and takes off on an adventure in the real world that could finally be something to let him let go of his fantasy world.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty lands in theaters December 25. That’s one crowded Christmas release day as 47 Ronin, Jack Ryan, American Hustle (whose American Hustle photos we just published) and Grudge Match also arrive. And just days prior -- December 20 -- finds Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues and Saving Mr. Banks with Tom Hanks as Walt Disney.

We’re The Millers Clips: Jason Sudeikis Tries to Rent Jennifer Aniston

Warner Bros. has released two new clips from their August 7 comedy We’re the Millers. As seen in the We're the Millers red band trailer, the film stars Jason Sudeikis as a low level pot dealer who has to go to Mexico and bring back a ton of weed for his boss, played with hilarious panache by Ed Helms.

To make his mission work, he gets the idea to rent an RV and get a little help from some acquaintances to appear to be a family coming back from a Mexican vacation.

That idea leads us to our first clip, where Sudeikis is trying to “rent” Aniston’s stripper. Hey, “It’s like Pretty Woman.”

The second clip from We're the Millers features quite the foursome of comedic talent. We find Aniston and Sudeikis waiting to cross the border back into the United States and they're just a little nervous about the pounds and pounds of pot they're carrying. They meet a fellow RV family in line, led by Nick Offerman and Kathryn Hahn.

When Hahn mistakes Aniston’s bundle of pot in a blanket for a baby, we love what Sudeikis tells their new friends the baby’s name is… LeBron. “The wife has a thing for prima donnas who will never be as good as Jordan.”

Amen to that!

X-Men Days of Future Past: Viral Video Celebrates 50 Years of Trask Industries

Soon after the X-Men: Days of Future Past cast shocked Comic-Con with their appearance, we started seeing all sorts of advertisements for Trask Industries and their proud product the Sentinels.

Now, 20th Century Fox has released a viral video that celebrates 50 years of Trask Industries and their all-out effort to ensure the security of us all.

And we also have word of who Peter Dinklage will be playing, none other than Bolivar Trask… the company’s CEO!

Peter Dinklage X-Men Days of Future Past

How this plays into the X-Men: Days of Future Past storyline, we’re not exactly sure. But, we have a theory. SPOILER! At the end of The Wolverine, Logan runs into two old friends, Professor X and Magneto, who tell him that the time is now for him to return to the Mutant collective as an evil force has risen its head. We believe, that evil force is the fact that the Sentinels are in control.

Somehow, our heroes have to go back in time and meet up with their younger selves (from X-Men: First Class) to squash the company that will ruin the world in current time.

We also have a new “still” from X-Men: Days of Future Past that features one of those ominous looking Sentinels overlooking what appears to be the inauguration of a president. Spooky, no?

Kick-Ass 2: First Clips with Jim Carrey!

We’ve seen Jim Carrey do his thing in the Kick-Ass 2 trailer, but we’ve got the first two clips from the sequel to Kick-Ass that feature the superstar in action. Carrey is Colonel Stars and Stripes and it sure is nice to see more of him than a glimpse, like the one we got in the Kick-Ass 2 red band trailer that debuted at Comic-Con.

The sequel finds Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) changing his moniker to The Mother F*cker and he is on a mission: To destroy Kick-Ass (Aaron Taylor Johnson) and his kind.

Meanwhile, Kick-Ass and Hit Girl are stronger than ever… as teased in this Kick-Ass 2 Hit Girl clip.

Kick-Ass 2 hits theaters August 16 and has also added another big name actor to the cast: John Leguizamo. We’re only weeks away from the film’s premiere, so for now… let this latest clip from Kick-Ass 2 hold you over and simultaneously get you excited for the triumphant return of our most unlikely heroes.

Blue Jasmine Exclusive: Andrew Dice Clay on How Woody Allen “Blew My Mind”

Andrew Dice Clay was as surprised as anyone that Woody Allen called and wanted him to appear in his next movie, Blue Jasmine. “I never thought I’d do another movie again,” Clay admitted in our exclusive video interview. “I hadn’t done a film in 12 years.”

Clay was called by his manager and told that Allen wanted to meet with him in New York after he was finished with one of his envelope-pushing stand-up shows.

“I couldn’t believe he called me to audition for a Woody film,” Clay admitted. The funnyman thought his manager was playing a prank on him. “I said, ‘Look Bruce, I’m tired.’ But he said, ‘I’m serious.’ It blew my mind! Woody is one of the top filmmakers of all-time.”

As we stated in our Blue Jasmine review, Clay could have his mind blown again by being nominated for an Oscar. Allen has a habit of producing supporting actor parts that result in Academy Awards. Clay plays the ex son-in-law of Cate Blanchett's character and as teased in the Blue Jasmine trailer, Blanchett isn't exactly all there and it results in a powerful drama with sprinkles of comedy.

When it came to working with Allen, how did expectations meet reality? “Getting to work with him, it was really easy to work with him. He’s not hard on you. His direction comes in his casting. He writes the script. He sees what he wants and if you come close to what he’s looking for when you audition… you’re right where he needs you on film.”

DreamWorks Animation has released a new international poster for their next hit, Mr. Peabody & Sherman. The film is based on the wildly popular classic cartoon series and with the vocal talent attached, fans of the scientist dog and his loyal companion should be thrilled.

Jay Ward’s cartoon gets the big screen treatment with Ty Burrell as Mr. Peabody and Max Charles tackling the role of Sherman. The studio also announced today that the Mr. Peabody and Sherman website is now live!

Fans should be pretty excited about a full-length movie, but patience is definitely a virtue as the film doesn’t arrive until March 7, 2014.

G.I. Joe Retaliation: Ray Park Talks Being Snake Eyes & Darth Maul

Ray Park could not have been a better choice to play Snake Eyes in the G.I. Joe movies. He first appeared as the character in G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra and has returned to the role in the sequel, now out on DVD and Blu-Ray, G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Simply watching the G.I. Joe Retaliation trailer and it's easy to see that Park was born to play Snake Eyes... it is a case of destiny meeting dreams.

Ray Park in G.I. Joe: Retaliation

See, Park is used to letting his action do the talking as both characters he is most known for are covered up by a mask (Snake Eyes) and face paint (Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace). We caught up with the action hero for an exclusive chat about how being Snake Eyes was a lifetime dream and how he is as surprised as anybody as to the reaction the world had to his turn as the evil Darth Maul.

Movie Fanatic: Playing someone like Snake Eyes, who existed before in G.I. Joe mythology, did you feel free to develop your own persona for the character that millions adore?

Ray Park: With the first movie, I was pretty open and free to come up with it on my own. I did a lot of research from the comic books and the animated TV series from the past. I was looking for anything G.I. Joe that I could get my hands on. I just found my Snake Eyes and carried it on through the movie. What I like about the character is I was allowed to use my martial arts as well. I channel the character through my body and once I get the suit on, then it really just falls into place.

Movie Fanatic: When were you first aware of the character of Snake Eyes?

G.I. Joe Retaliation Blu-Ray/DVD

Ray Park: I actually loved this character from my childhood and always imagined who he would be, so to be able to play him in G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra and G.I. Joe: Retaliation is a dream come true. I thought about that from the very first fight scene with Snake Eyes and I don’t take this opportunity lightly. When I found out they were making a G.I. Joe movie, I thought to myself, “Who do I know to call to get a chance to play him?” I really chased after it, and I’ve never really done that before. I really wanted to play Snake Eyes.

Movie Fanatic: Given that fans have such an affinity for that character, what has the reaction been like from them and what has it been like for you to play a character you idolized since childhood?

Ray Park: It’s been great, the reaction from the fans. They’re the ones whose opinion really matters. When the first movie came out, they had only known me from The Phantom Menace as Darth Maul and I just hoped they would appreciate what I brought to Snake Eyes. To see their reactions all over the world has been a true gift. It really hadn’t sunk in at the time, but it has in the time since.

Movie Fanatic: What do you like most about playing Snake Eyes?

Ray Park: It’s great to play Snake. I get to do all these fantastic stunts and martial arts sequences. I grew up watching martial arts and action movies, so to get to do so much of those scenes with Snake Eyes is amazing and honestly so much fun. I wanted to be a ninja as a boy, I had a ninja suit and everything [laughs].

Movie Fanatic: You were at Comic-Con, what is it like for you to see so many people dressed up as Snake Eyes, but also Darth Maul, your character from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace? Is it surreal?

Ray Park: It’s actually fantastic. People dressing as Snake Eyes really stand out for me in the crowd. But, people who dress as Darth Maul truly impress me because of all the effort it takes to get into that costume and the makeup. I always make sure to walk up to both those dressed as Snake Eyes and Darth Maul to thank them for their devotion. Because that’s what it really is, they’re devoted to these characters that I have played. Those are true fans. I met somebody who actually had a Darth Maul tattoo on his body! I was impressed. He said he had waited 10 years to meet me. You hear things like that, and it just means so much.

Movie Fanatic: One thing that has struck me about you and playing Darth Maul -- is in the span of the Star Wars franchise, your appearance is actually quite short. But, he quickly became a huge fan favorite. Did you have any idea when you first started putting on that red face paint that he would resonate like he did?

Darth Maul in Phantom Menace

Ray Park: I had no idea at all. I had no idea of the gravity of it. I was, honestly, concerned about playing a bad guy. I thought I’d be booed and hissed at and people wouldn’t like me. I grew up, like so many, loving the good guys. I wanted to be the hero. When I landed the role, I remember thinking, “I wish I was a Jedi.” Then, people saw the movie and just became fascinated with Darth Maul. People are telling me that Darth Maul is their hero. It’s kind of blown me away. To me, it was all about having a platform to showcase my martial arts. I just wanted to make my mum and dad proud and my masters proud as well. If I can show as much martial arts as possible in these characters I play, like Snake Eyes too, it is a huge achievement for me.

The Smurfs 2 Exclusive: Hank Azaria Dishes His Favorite Movie Villains

The Smurfs 2 star Hank Azaria met us for an exclusive video interview for what was a fantastic replica of the place where the sequel to The Smurfs was filmed -- Paris, France.

In a swanky room atop the Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, we explored his character Gargamel's unique relationship with his cat, who inspired Azaria to be the man of a thousand voices (His work on The Simpsons is merely the tip of the iceberg)... and who his favorite movie villain(s) are and how they rocked his world.

“You know what was terrifying? That child catcher in Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang,” Azaria admitted. You want to know who else scared the man who plays evil in The Smurfs world… check out the video below!

As can be seen in The Smurfs 2 trailer, Gargamel has crafted quite a scheme to get inside the world of those little blue creatures. He made his own Smurfs (known as The Naughties) and audiences have to wonder... has he done it this time?

We also wondered, that with a character like Gargamel, it would be easy to go too far with a characterization. Azaria says that there was an edge he had to watch out for. "That was a major concern of mine," Azaria said. "Yeah, you can push it too far."

Check out what Smurfs Neil Patrick Harris and Jayma Mays would create if they could. The Smurfs 2 lands in theaters July 31.

Elysium Debuts Two Clips: Matt Damon is Doubly Dangerous

It is quite a couple of days for some of Hollywood’s most anticipated films to release not one, but two clips. Yesterday, Movie Fanatic featured two We’re the Millers clips and we also got a double dose of Kick-Ass 2 clips. Today, we’ve got a pair of clips from the Matt Damon-starring, Neill Blomkamp-directed Elysium.

The two spots, He’s Awake (first below) and Undocumented Ships Inbound, do quite an effective job of painting a picture as to what we can expect when the film premieres August 9.

From the first moments of that initial Elysium trailer through the Elysium Heist clip that we featured two days ago, the pairing of Damon and Blomkamp has appeared to be a match made in heaven. Also, Blomkamp’s District 9 star Sharlto Copley, is back in his old friend’s film… and boy does he play Mr. Nasty.

American Hustle Trailer: Good Times, Bad Times

The trailer for David O. Russell’s American Hustle has premiered and there is something about a crazy good looking film that has its trailer scored to Led Zeppelin that gets us going. Remember that The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trailer with the Zep cover? Thought so!

Fresh off the release of the American Hustle photos yesterday, Columbia Pictures has released a trailer for what should be some serious Oscar bait.

The Academy loves true stories and American Hustle chronicles one of the most explosive scandals in modern American history -- Abscam. Oscar also adores Russell and has showered his cast with many Oscar nods for his films over the years… Christian Bale won one for The Fighter and he’s back in the Russell fold with American Hustle. Then there are Oscar nominees Amy Adams and Bradley Cooper, plus last year’s Best Actress (for a Russell film) Jennifer Lawrence.

American Hustle lands in December and also features our favorite Avenger, Hawkeye, Jeremy Renner.

Gravity IMAX Poster: Drifting in Space

At the heart of director Alfonso Cuaron’s (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) Gravity is the powerful acting performances needed by his two leads: George Clooney and Sandra Bullock. See, the story follows their astronauts who are out on a space walk when their ship is bombarded and destroyed by floating debris.

Gravity IMAX Poster

Lost in space, and floating ironically without Gravity, they must figure out how to survive. Warner Bros. has released a new poster celebrating the film’s release on October 4 in IMAX, and boy, does it say much without saying much of anything other than, “Don’t Let Go.” That was also the title of the first Gravity trailer. I sense a theme here.

From our Sandra Bullock Comic-Con interview, we learned that both actors went through rigorous training with real life astronauts to make the film feel as real as possible. Judging by what we’ve seen so far… mission accomplished.

The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey: Deleted Scene from Extended Edition Blu-Ray Release

Peter Jackson has released a deleted scene from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and it is a delight. The clip is from the newly announced Blu-Ray extended version release and it features Bilbo (Martin Freeman) meeting Elrond (Hugo Weaving) at Rivendell and was not included in the theatrical version due to time constraints on an already longer film.

But now with the upcoming release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey extended version on Blu-Ray, it is back in the film and can be seen below!

The extended version of Jackson’s film will contain 13 minutes of extra footage, not even released on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey DVD when it hit stores earlier this year.

In our theatrical The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey review, we adored the film, but did state that it was a smidge long. But, something about seeing it in the comfort of your own home, we welcome the additional footage to more fully draw out Jackson’s telling of J.R.R. Tolkien’s tale.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Blu-Ray Extended Version

The extended five-disc Blu-Ray set of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be available November 5, but for those who cannot wait... the film will be available on digital download on October 22.

Oh, and did we mention that there are over nine hours of never-before-seen bonus features! Yeah, that.

The Smurfs 2 Review: Kids Will Smurf It

When The Smurfs hit theaters in 2011, it was a surprise smash. But, in hindsight, we who cover the movie business should not have been so shocked that the big screen version of Peyo’s world made $564 million! His Smurfs are a beloved institution in pop culture and have been for decades. What should not be a surprise is that we now have a sequel, teased in The Smurfs 2 trailer.

Back for another adventure are Neil Patrick Harris and Jayma Mays, as well as Hank Azaria as the evil wizard Gargamel.

Papa Smurf and The Smurfs in The Smurfs 2

This time out, our film begins in the land of Smurfs where Smurfette is excited to celebrate her birthday. Only, it seems that nobody remembers. In reality, they are preparing a surprise celebration of Smurf proportions.

Teased in the second The Smurfs 2 movie trailer, we also learn in the opening moments of The Smurfs 2 how Smurfette landed in the cute blue creatures' village. She was a creation of Gargamel and meant to infiltrate the Smurfs world so he could destroy it. But, she was won over by the love of Papa Smurf and the joy and love of life of all his fellow Smurfs.

So, we have our premise for the sequel. Gargamel has created his own Smurfs, but this time, they didn’t turn out as well. They are known as the Naughties and they manage to get to Smurf village and kidnap Smurfette and take her to Gargamel’s lair (er… hotel room) in Paris where he is performing magic to sell-out crowds of manic Parisians who simply adore his quirky lack of charm.

Papa Smurf and a few of his kind head to New York to recruit Harris and Mays for a whole new adventure. They have a young son, named Blue of all things, and Harris’ estranged father Victor (Brendan Gleeson) is there for a long overdue visit to celebrate Blue’s birthday. Papa Smurf rallies the family and his fellow Smurfs and heads to Paris to rescue Smurfette.

The Smurfs 2 is very much in the vein of the first film. It is geared towards children and they will adore it to the ends of the Earth. There are lessons aplenty including learning to appreciate what you have and not to idolize what you don’t. The power of family also permeates every frame of the film, regardless of what form that family takes… which is extremely timely given our ever changing familial dynamic in today’s world.

The Naughties in The Smurfs 2

But, The Smurfs 2 is not all lessons and message. There is humor, albeit geared towards youngsters. There is adventure, still G-rated. And overall, there is the charm that has endeared these little blue creatures to millions across the globe for decades. Once you experience the world of the Smurfs, it is easy to see not only how the first film did so well, but why they continue to resonate today and into the future.

Our The Smurfs 2 review has to split our grade into two parts: One for kids and one for the film overall. Kids… will love it and it’s a five-star event. Adults on the other hand… not quite as much. But then again, those of a mature age are not who filmmakers made The Smurfs 2 for… although it’s easy to find them quite charming.

X-Men Days of Future Past: Bryan Singer Explains Timeline

It is pretty obvious when the X-Men: Days of Future Past cast shocked us by appearing at Comic-Con that both the “classic” X-Men heroes and the X-Men: First Class mutants will be joining forces for Bryan Singer’s film that lands May 23, 2014.

Although thrilled at the prospect of witnessing both Michael Fassbender and Ian McKellen as Magneto and James McAvoy and Patrick Stewart as Professor X, it left us wondering how exactly it would work.

X-Men Days of Future Past Logo

Sure, after seeing The Wolverine, we know how it starts… but where do we go from there? Singer was talking to Empire and filled in a few blanks.

"It takes place about ten years, give or take, after X-Men 3; and in the past it takes place about ten years after First Class,” Singer admitted.

He also divulged that it spans continents, as well as time. “It takes place in the future and the past and then all over the world, from Russia to China, then France, and Washington, New York. It’s got scope, but most of the scope is in the breadth of the story.”

We like what Singer has decided to call his film that combines franchise casts across different time continuums. “I’d say it’s not a sequel to one of the others. It’s an inbetwequel -- that’s what I call it, for lack of a better word.”

Jackass Presents Bad Grandpa Trailer: First Look at Johnny Knoxville!

One of our favorite “characters” from the Jackass series was when Johnny Knoxville would put on his old man costume and turn into 86-year-old Irving Zisman. The messes he would get into were utterly hilarious and also so wrong… on so many levels.

Well, Knoxville has answered our prayers as he has crafted a full length movie featuring Zisman. Not only do we have the Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa trailer for the film that arrives October 25, but we have the first two photos from the comedy as well.

It's nice to see that Knoxville has made time to keep the Jackass franchise alive after securing roles in various films, including The Last Stand

Along for the ride in Bad Grandpa is Zisman’s sidekick, eight-year-old “grandson” Billy. In the film they cross the country that actually combines a narrative feature with their trademark hidden camera mayhem. From the sounds of it, Knoxville is quite pleased with the casting.

Johnny Knoxville Bad Grandpa

"Jackson would just follow me on the set and verbally assault me while hitting me in the zipper," Knoxville recalls. "I was just shaking my head thinking that this kid is a piece of work. He's unbelievable. I think he was sent from heaven."

Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa Johnny Knoxville

Knoxville had been asked repeatedly about making a full length movie with Zisman, but feared it would never work over a full length movie. But, with the combination of hidden camera and a set narrative, he found a winning combination. From the sounds of it, the film is a nice follow-up to Jackass 3D.

We're the Millers Synopsis:

From New Line Cinema comes the action comedy We’re The Millers, starring Jennifer Aniston (Horrible Bosses) and Jason Sudeikis (The Campaign). The film is directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story).

David Burke (Sudeikis) is a small-time pot dealer whose clientele includes chefs and soccer moms, but no kids -- after all, he has his scruples. So what could go wrong? Plenty. Preferring to keep a low profile for obvious reasons, he learns the hard way that no good deed goes unpunished when he tries to help out some local teens and winds up getting jumped by a trio of gutter punks. Stealing his stash and his cash, they leave him in major debt to his supplier, Brad (Ed Helms).

In order to wipe the slate clean -- and maintain a clean bill of health -- David must now become a big-time drug smuggler by bringing Brad’s latest shipment in from Mexico. Twisting the arms of his neighbors, cynical stripper Rose (Aniston) and wannabe customer Kenny (Will Poulter), and the tatted-and-pierced streetwise teen Casey (Emma Roberts), he devises a foolproof plan. One fake wife, two pretend kids and a huge, shiny RV later, the “Millers” are headed south of the border for a Fourth of July weekend that is sure to end with a bang.

Thurber directs We’re The Millers from a screenplay by Bob Fisher & Steve Faber (Wedding Crashers) and Sean Anders & John Morris (Hot Tub Time Machine), story by Bob Fisher & Steve Faber. The film also stars Emma Roberts (The Art of Getting By), Nick Offerman (21 Jump Street), Kathryn Hahn (The Dictator), Will Poulter (The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader) and Ed Helms (the Hangover films).

Vincent Newman, Tucker Tooley, Happy Walters and Chris Bender are the producers, with David Heyman, J.C. Spink, Marcus Viscidi, Toby Emmerich, Richard Brenner and David Neustadter serving as executive producers.

Thurber’s behind-the-scenes creative team includes director of photography Barry Peterson (21 Jump Street); production designer Clayton Hartley (The Other Guys); editor Mike Sale (The Hangover Part II); and costume designer Shay Cunliffe (The Bourne Legacy).

New Line Cinema’s We’re The Millers opens nationwide on August 7, 2013, and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

We’re the Millers is rated R for “crude sexual content, pervasive language, drug material and brief graphic nudity.”
