Arnold Schwarzenegger has seen the script for the Terminator “reboot,” otherwise known as Terminator: Genesis. In a talk with the fansite thearnoldfans.com, the superstar talked about his return to the franchise that made him a huge star.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Terminator 2

“We start filming in April and it will be a four-and-a-half month long shoot. Most of it will be done in New Orleans, with some filming in San Francisco and maybe a little in LA. The last Terminator was when I was Governor and so I couldn't be in that movie, but now I'm back again and they are very excited about having me in the film,” Schwarzenegger said.

“[Producer] David Ellison has plenty of money to do it well, in partnership with Paramount Pictures who are going to release the movie through their distribution. It's going to come out on the July 4th weekend in 2015. The preparation is going well and the script is fantastic, so I'm really looking forward to it!"

News broke last week that Jai Courtney is cast as Kyle Reese with Jason Clarke as John Connor and Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor.

Transformers Age of Extinction: Mark Wahlberg Poster Revealed!

We would not call Transformers: Age of Extinction a reboot. Sure, it’s the fourth movie in Michael Bay’s Transformers franchise and it features an all-new cast, led by Mark Wahlberg. But, it still exists in the same universe as the previous three films that began with the first Transformers movie in 2007.

Wahlberg is clearly the star and Paramount has debuted the man’s poster today in celebration of a week that should be quite filled with Transformers: Age of Extinction news.

Transformers Age of Extinction Mark Wahlberg Poster

We’ve been told that the film’s follow-up teaser to that Transformers: Age of Extinction Super Bowl trailer will arrive, as well as a slew of other character posters.

Transformers: Age of Extinction lands in theaters June 27, and if you think this fourth Transformers film will be the biggest, loudest and most explosive, you clearly know Michael Bay.

Nebraska DVD Review: Oscar Nominee Available Now!

Nebraska may have gone home empty-handed from those six Oscar nominations, but that doesn’t take away anything from the stellar achievement that the Alexander Payne film achieved. The story of a father and a son, who reconnect on a road trip to the titular state, stars Bruce Dern and Will Forte and is utterly unforgettable. Nebraska has arrived on DVD and Blu-Ray, so now’s your chance to check out one of the nine Best Picture nominees at home!

Nebraska DVD/Blu-Ray

Besides Best Picture, Nebraska also scored nominations for Best Director (Payne), Best Actor (Dern), Best Original Screenplay by Bob Nelson (giving us those awesome Nebraska quotes), Best Supporting Actress (for June Squibb, who plays Dern’s wife) and Best Cinematography.

The black and white film is a stunner, and as we said in our theatrical Nebraska review, it may be one of the more colorful films that landed in 2013. The story will reaffirm your faith in family and is told by Payne with humor, grace, compassion and a window into the world of the Midwest that is absolutely priceless.

The bonus features on the Nebraska DVD and Blu-Ray are fantastically paired to the tone and nature of the film. We especially enjoyed The Making of Nebraska which takes us inside Payne’s filmmaking methodology and how the film came to be shot in black and white plus the special challenges that arose due to that fact. In that vein, the Shooting in Black and White featurette delves into that further and has us thinking that more filmmakers need to use the color-less format to achieve more color in their flicks!

Bruce Dern Will Forte Nebraska

Working with Alexander is an especially powerful documentary short, given that Nebraska is truly a Payne film, through and through. The Sideways and The Descendants director is way in his element with this familial story and it is clear that Payne is paying tribute to his home state with this extraordinary story.

Lastly, A Film Family looks at the heart of the film and that is the clan that is led by Dern and Squibb. As you witness the film, it is easy to see that these actors perfectly gelled in a manner that was required of them, sure, but through mutual respect and sheer cinematic chemistry, they came together to create something truly magical.

This Oscar nominee can be watched at home… right now! Watch Nebraska online and revel in this remarkable tale.

After traveling to Rio for the premiere of the animated film, it was uncanny how well filmmakers had captured the feel and, more importantly, the beat of the area. With Rio 2 arriving in theaters soon, we’re thrilled to see that the film has expanded its base and sent its characters deep into the Amazon for a song and dance filled fest that is sure to please.

Fox has released a behind-the-scenes featurette called The Beat Goes On that shows how the musical sensibilities of the Rio world have expanded too.

Stars Anne Hathaway, Jamie Foxx and George Lopez chime in on the worldly feel of the sequel and even newcomers Bruno Mars and Kristen Chenoweth add their two cents. Be sure to check out the music-heavy first Rio 2 clip featuring Mars wooing Hathaway’s character Jewel as only he can… with his vocal prowess!

We took you inside Rio 2 already, and as the film inches closer to its April 11 release date, we’re sure there will be more to tap your toes to! Until then, watch Rio online and prepare to dance and sing!

Batman vs. Superman: Zack Snyder Talks Worlds Exploding

$

Zack Snyder is currently promoting his latest vision as producer of 300: Rise of an Empire (more on his thoughts on that film coming this week!). But, there is no way he could get away from questions concerning Batman vs. Superman. "We’re getting ready to start shooting in a month or so. It’s going great. I’m very excited," Snyder told the LA Times.

Batman and Superman Photo

He also said that there will be new Superman and Batman costumes! “We’re testing the suits -- the new Batsuit and the Superman suit. It wasn’t even with the actors. It was just to see them. I was standing there, they were standing next to each other and I was like, 'Guys, someone take a picture! This has never happened before!'"

We need to see that picture!

It may seem like a crowded world in Batman vs. Superman -- what with Henry Cavill’s Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and the recent additions of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred. But, Snyder cautions those that worry and promises that if anyone knows the mythology of the DC world, it’s him and his team.

"We know the material," he promises. "We’re casting according to what’s happening in the script. And we’re hoping that leads to enough originality, enough perspective on what we’re doing that you get something fresh and exciting. I understand the canon. I’m not crazy. I know what these characters need from a mythological standpoint."

And for those who are familiar with the world of Superman and Batman in the comic books, they should be prepared for something new, and awesome. “In Man of Steel, we had to create an origin story, a mythology. There’s a lot of energy into that, which we love doing. Don’t get me wrong,” Snyder said.

“But when you think about how fun it is too -- now that you’ve got these characters -- to now let them loose, that’s fun! It literally takes the Man of Steel and Batman universes and explodes them."

Music to our ears! And we look forward to Snyder adding to these awesome Batman quotes with Batman vs. Superman!

There are two things that stand out from the latest Captain America: The Winter Soldier TV spot.

The first is the opening lines said by Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and they are delivered in impeccable Sam Jackson fashion… “Get me off the grid! Now!”

No one exudes anger and impatience like Jackson!

The second is the new footage that shows us Captain America’s new partner, Anthony Mackie as Falcon. We see him flying, soaring, and even explaining how he came to be by the side of the First Avenger.

The latest Captain America: The Winter Soldier TV spot even explains more about our villain and how he is a threat to national, and world, security.

As TV spots go, it is truly one of the best. It feels like a theatrical trailer, but all within the confines of a 60-second spot. Well done, Marvel. Well done.

The more a movie villain is evil, scary and downright awful, the more we pull for our hero. Hollywood has a long history of creating antagonists, but only a few can go down as the best at being bad.

Just watch Thor online or watch The Avengers online and in Loki you'll see one who personifies what we're talking about here.

He is cunning, charming and at the end of the day... awesomely evil!

So, sit back, and prepare to have those teeth clench! Click through and see our 17 movie villains who are brilliant at their bad-assery.

Whether in Thor, The Avengers or even Thor: The Dark World, there are few that find being bad the sport of champions like Loki. And thanks to the casting of Tom Hiddleston, this villain hits a home run every time.

Anton Chigurh in No Country For Old Men

3. Anton Chigurh in No Country For Old Men

Flip a coin and either way, Anton is one nasty bastard. He's so bad... the Academy awarded Javier Bardem an Oscar for being so awesomely evil.

General Zod

4. General Zod

Ask any Superman fan and they'll tell you one of his greatest foes is General Zod. He's nasty because he's driven by principle, and that is one tough thing to beat. Whether played by Terrence Stamp in Superman II or Michael Shannon in Man of Steel, Zod is vengeance personified.

The Joker

5. The Joker

The Joker can be comical in his evil, but in The Dark Knight -- with the Oscar-winning performance of Heath Ledger -- he was evil incarnate. Both psychotic and driven, joke all you want... the Joker gets the last laugh.

Darth Vader

6. Darth Vader

Expecting someone else? Lord Vader is one of the great movie villains of all time. What else needs to be said? Well, don't say, "I am your father!" Because that, that will make me want to fall to my death.

Auric Goldfinger

10. Auric Goldfinger

Auric Goldfinger was such a fantastic Bond villain, that he got the entire movie named for him. There are many Bond villains that are fantastic, but few have made the pop culture explosion that our fan of Au did!

Michael Myers

13. Hans Landa in Inglourious Basterds

There have been many Nazi villains in the movies over the decades, but few enjoyed their villainy as much as Christoph Waltz did in his personifying of Hans Landa. That could be why we took such joy in what Brad Pitt did to him at the end of Tarantino's movie!

Hans Gruber in Die Hard

14. Hans Gruber in Die Hard

Alan Rickman was so fantastic as Hans Gruber in Die Hard, that even though they're still making Die Hard movies, they are essentially chasing their tail because there will never be a villain as supremely sinister as Gruber!

Annie Wilkes in Misery

15. Annie Wilkes in Misery

Few villains do a better job of using the word "cockamamy" as Annie Wilkes did in Stephen King's MIsery. Kathy Bates was haunting in her portrayal of the book fan who took it to the other side of fanatical. And please, Annie, put down the sledgehammer!

Khan in Wrath of Khan

16. Khan in Wrath of Khan

Sure, Benedict was good in Star Trek Into Darkness, but nothing tops Ricardo Montalban as Khan in Star Trek II. He was so evil, yet charming, that we kind of pulled for him. Well, kind of. And there is no better hero uttering a villain's name than when Kirk says, "Khaaaaaan!"

Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th

17. Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th

A good villain oftentimes has to wear a mask, and few nailed it quite like the hockey mask that Jason Voorhees wears in Friday the 13th. Every time we turn our calendar and see that the month has a Friday the 13th, come on... you know you think of that hockey mask!

Catching Fire lands on DVD March 7 and the film that was the biggest blockbuster of 2013 comes home with a slew of new material.

Catching Fire DVD

We already chronicled the Catching Fire DVD bonus features, and now we have two clips presented by Lionsgate that celebrate the upcoming home video release of the story that continues the tale of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and the struggles for a free Panem.

The first clip is called Distraction, and it is what Katniss and Peeta are apparently supposed to be.

The second clip from Catching Fire is called I’m Staying, and although Katniss wants to stay behind, Gale convinces his love that it’s in the best interest of everyone (and you’ll see why as the story progresses) that Katniss goes on the victory tour.

Let it Go: Idina Menzel Performs with Jimmy Fallon & The Roots

After her jaw-dropping performance at the Oscars performing Let it Go from Frozen, Idina Menzel headed over to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Menzel (whose name Fallon did not mangle like John Travolta did on the big show) performed the Oscar winner for Best Song in a bit that Fallon has done before that always seems to work.

Fallon and his house band, the Roots, performed Let it Go, using only elementary school instruments. And, as you can see below, it is nothing short of brilliant.

It also shows how incredible Menzel’s voice is and we’re thrilled that the song Let it Go appears to show no signs of slowing down. With the Frozen DVD coming out March 18, we don’t think that will happen any time soon.

He was a free man living in New York state, who was kidnapped during a trip to Washington D.C., and forced into slavery in the deep South. He would spend the titular amount of time there, enduring hardship and witnessing the worst of the horrors that man can do to his fellow man.

Director Steve McQueen has crafted a masterpiece that is hard to watch, yes, but is one of those films that must be seen (as we stated in our theatrical 12 Years a Slave review).

Chiwetel Ejiofor stuns as Northup, a man who goes through hell, yet manages to keep one eye on inspiration and as such, is an inspiration to us all. Lupita Nyong’O plays a fellow slave he meets at a plantation run by the utterly evil Michael Fassbender. Nyong’O famously won a Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance in the film that also saw its third Academy Award come for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Brad Pitt not only served as a producer on 12 Years a Slave, but plays a small -- but pivotal -- role in the movie itself. Even in small roles, all actors shine, especially Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Dano, Paul Giamatti, Sarah Paulson and Alfre Woodard.

McQueen manages to chronicle this 12-year journey that will leave you with tears of joy and hope by the time the film concludes. It is a tribute to the human spirit and one of the must-own DVD and Blu-Rays of the year.

The Blu-Ray special features are only three in number, but feel massive in scope and importance. A Historical Portrait puts the true story of Northup in context of its time and explores the actual words that he used in his memoir that still moves readers, over a century after it was published. Of particular power in this bonus feature are the comments by Ejiofor. It is clear that now that this actor has played this extraordinary human being, he will never be the same.

12 Years a Slave Michael Fassbender

The final two bonus features, The Team and The Score, look at the creative team that crafted this instant classic. The Team shows how McQueen and his filmmaking collective came together to make a film that had to be difficult on so many levels. The Team is a chronicle of a triumph, and for aspiring filmmakers, let it be a lesson in perseverance.

Lastly, The Score adds some flavor to the DVD and Blu-Ray bonus features in that it shows how the music of the film added layers of emotion that enhanced those emitted by the cast. Between The Team and The Score, it truly comes across as a study in how all the elements of creativity can come together and craft something truly astonishing.

11 Movies That Could Win 2015 Best Picture
Ben Affleck starring in a David Fincher murder mystery based on a blockbuster book? Sounds like Oscar bait. Plus, the buzz on this flick is through the roof (it has already been on the cover of Entertainment Weekly). We know Oscar loves Ben (Argo) and Fincher (The Social Network, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo).

Plus, the buzz on this flick is through the roof (it has already been on the cover of Entertainment Weekly). Into the Woods

2. Into the Woods

Meryl Streep in a beloved musical? We know she can sing, courtesy of Mamma Mia. And everyone knows she can act with all those record-breaking Oscar nominations. The fact that this musical blockbuster is also from Rob Marshall, who won an Oscar with Chicago, certainly gets it on the short list for Oscar 2015.

Noah

3. Noah

Oscar loves biblical pics. And what better cinematic story is there than Noah? Russell Crowe is the biblical hero in a film from Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky. Consider it a contender!

Unbroken

4. Unbroken

Angelina Jolie's latest directorial effort tells the true story of not only an Olympic hero, but a World War II hero too. You know Oscar loves both types of heroes, but in the same movie? Count it!

Interstellar

5. Interstellar

Matthew McConaughey is following up his Oscar win for Dallas Buyers Club with the mind-blowing film from Christopher Nolan. We think this film has Oscar written all over it. And perhaps, just perhaps, Nolan gets his first trophy!

The Grand Budapest Hotel

6. The Grand Budapest Hotel

Wes Anderson is due for some serious Oscar love. We think his all-star cast and the story of The Grand Budapest Hotel easily has him in the running.

Foxcatcher

7. Foxcatcher

Foxcatcher was originally going to come out in 2013 for consideration for a 2014 Oscar. But, the true story of a pair of wrestling brothers (Mark Ruffalo and Channing Tatum) and their coach (Steve Carell) and murder, moved to 2014. Smart move -- it's already a contender and avoids the crowded Oscar field of 2013.

Fury

8. Fury

Brad Pitt, Logan Lerman, Michael Pena and Shia LaBeouf in a World War II story from director David Ayer (Training Day, End of Watch)? Yes, please! This tank team behind enemy lines story has serious Oscar buzz already.

Inherent Vice

9. Inherent Vice

The last time Paul Thomas Anderson and Joaquin Phoenix got together, they gave us the masterful The Master. Anderson is an Oscar favorite, and Phoenix is beloved by the Academy as well. This is also based on a wildly popular book, something that screams Oscar too. Toss in a cast that includes Josh Brolin, Benicio del Toro & Reese Witherspoon (all winners or former nominees) and this is a lock.

Exodus

10. Exodus

Another biblical epic? You bet! This time out, it's Ridley Scott filming Oscar favorite Christian Bale as Moses. OK, we're in.

Boyhood

11. Boyhood

Boyhood was all the rage at Sundance. The Richard Linklater story stars Ethan Hawke and is fascinating sounding to say the least. Linklater (who just came off an Oscar nod for Before Midnight) filmed this flick over the course of 12 years to adequately capture a family as time goes by. Simply stunning. And Oscar loves a gamble like this one sounds like it is.

Hours DVD Review: Paul Walker Makes Us Miss Him

There were many great tragedies that happened when Paul Walker died. One of them was that his talent was truly just starting to show in films like Hours.

Hours DVD

The haunting drama that recounts the harrowing days during and following Hurricane Katrina stars Walker as a father trying to keep his premature baby alive in a hospital stripped of power and resources. The actor was never better in the role, and we believe it was the first chapter in a new book for the star on film.

Hours is out now on DVD, Blu-Ray and digital download and is a must-see for his fans, but for anyone who appreciates the fine art of acting.

The raging winds and rains begin about a third of the way through the movie, after we’ve met Walker and his onscreen very pregnant wife (Genesis Rodriguez). They’re about to give birth and race to the hospital, full of excitement for the pending arrival, but also possessing an uneasy feeling about the approaching storm that has forecasters comparing it to something like Armageddon. Also, something is wrong with the pregnancy. It is too early for the baby to be born and both mother and father know it.

When tragedy strikes during delivery, it’s up to Walker to stay by his new baby’s side and wait for the little one to make it out of the woods that is the challenge of premature childbirth. The fact that the storm of the century will knock out power (forcing Walker to manually turn a generator to keep the baby alive) and send all of the hospital staff away to safety does not help things.

Walker commands in every scene. We see him as an actor astound as he deals with the loss of his wife, the impending doom that is the hurricane, and the life and death challenge that is each second of his premature baby trying to breathe. It is a harrowing tale and, as we reported in our theatrical Hours review, is one astounding piece of work on many levels.

Paul Walker Hours

In what would prove to be one of the final Paul Walker interviews, he exclusively told us that this film was his proudest professional moment. And it should be. The fact that this film is out now on DVD, Blu-Ray and digital download means that his fans can have a piece of him at his best… forever.

The bonus features on the Hours DVD and Blu-Ray are sparse. But, that is no matter -- this is a film that is about the 97 minutes of pure power that is the movie itself.

There is an All I Feel Is You music video by Safran and as a nice touch, a PSA spot for Walker’s charity Reach Out World Wide. And what better way to carry on the star’s legacy than to witness the PSA and make a donation to keep his hopes and dreams for the future alive.

And you don’t have to wait to check out Hours on DVD or Blu-Ray. You can watch Hours online right now.

And it was fitting that the first true one-sheet for the film, released yesterday, was a Mark Wahlberg poster. This is clearly his show, and the action star (who we last saw amazing us in Lone Survivor) is in top form in this fourth Transformers movie from director Michael Bay.

Transformers: Age of Extinction also stars Kelsey Grammer (who establishes himself nicely as our film's villain in the above teaser), Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci and Jack Reynor. And yes, Dinobots are all over this thing!

The film doesn’t land until June 27, but you can watch Transformers online right now!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Gwen & Peter in Love Featurette!

One of the things that set Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man apart from the first chapter in the Sam Raimi trilogy was the touching love story between Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). Their chemistry was so electric, and we could see why -- the two actors are a couple in real life!

Well, Sony has released a new featurette that looks at how their love story has grown in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The latest The Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer teases it, and it’s nice to see a full-on video that focuses on the two teenage love birds.

In fact, it is one of the 7 things we expect from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to make it a success. Click through and see the other six! And while Spidey is on the mind, be sure to get all caught up before the sequel's May 2 release and watch The Amazing Spider-Man online.

7 Keys to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Being Great
One of the things we adore about Spider-Man in general is he always has a sense of humor, no matter what he's doing... even in the most dire of circumstances. We suspect in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, that will grow even further.

Spidey's Humor Must Continue

1. Spidey's Humor Must Continue

One of the things we adore about Spider-Man in general is he always has a sense of humor, no matter what he's doing... even in the most dire of circumstances. We suspect in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, that will grow even further.

Peter Parker & Gwen Stacy Romance Grows, But Not Without Peril

2. Peter Parker & Gwen Stacy Romance Grows, But Not Without Peril

Gwen and Peter truly hit it off in the first film, now their romance must continue and grow… but there must be some conflict. We suspect a certain villain (or three) will have something to do with that. It was wise for the Shailene Woodley Mary Jane character to have her scenes cut. We're not quite ready for that kind of relationship conflict.

Don't Batman and Robin The Villains

3. Don't Batman and Robin The Villains

Batman and Robin famously overcrowded its film with too many villains. Even though we know there are three in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, we know that the main one will be Electro (Jamie Foxx). The Rhino (Paul Giamatti) is supporting and Dane DeHaan’s Green Goblin will likely just be introduced as his villain will play a bigger role in subsequent films. Well, let's hope that is how it goes!

Let Foxx be Foxx

4. Let Foxx be Foxx

Electro is such a fascinating villain. How does Spider-Man deal with fighting someone who can literally electrocute you? And Foxx is an Oscar-winning actor. Webb, we're sure, won’t let Foxx be overshadowed by layers of Electro make-up or lightning-wielding power. Foxx is best when he is just being Foxx. We haven't seen him play a true villain before, and… we. can't. wait.

Spider-Man Loves Being Spider-Man

5. Spider-Man Loves Being Spider-Man

Now that we got that origins story over with, we hope that even though the stakes of danger are higher in the second film Peter Parker is having a true blast being the superhero. Now that he has command of his powers, look for him to bask in the glow of being… well, Spider-Man!

Harry Osborn & Peter Parker Friendship Must Flourish

6. Harry Osborn & Peter Parker Friendship Must Flourish

One of the great joys of the Raimi trilogy was the friendship (before it turned sour) between Harry Osborn and Peter Parker. With actors as powerful as Dane DeHaan and Andrew Garfield, we look forward to much joy between these two… before their epic Spider-Man and Green Goblin battle.

Leave Us On a Cliffhanger

7. Leave Us On a Cliffhanger

We suspect that Spidey will do just fine against Electro, but there must be a cost paid to being a hero and we suspect that will happen in the closing moments of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. And here's an idea: Leave us hanging. We remember when Empire Strikes Back ended and we had to wait, impatiently we might add, for Return of the Jedi. With the power of the Spider-Man mythology… there is no reason The Amazing Spider-Man 2 could not leave us panting for The Amazing Spider-Man 3.

Bond 24 Screenwriter Teases Skyfall Follow-Up: "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet!"

After Ralph Fiennes said that Bond 24 will start shooting in October, our ears perked up. Skyfall was not only the best Bond in years, but its most successful installment. Now that Bond 24 is going to get started in merely seven months, screenwriter John Logan is busy at work. And he is not alone.

Daniel Craig Skyfall Still

He sat down with the UK’s Empire and said that star Daniel Craig is as much involved in the creative process as director Sam Mendes is. It is a creative trio that led to the best Bond in years and its most successful.

“Daniel’s very involved,” Logan said. “It behooves no one to write a character that the lead actor doesn’t want to play, so having worked so closely on Skyfall, I have my own sense of what I think Dan responds to, as does Sam, (and producers) Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson of course.”

Given his joy working on Skyfall, one would expect that Logan was eager to get back to putting pen to paper to continue the adventures of James Bond.

“Working on Skyfall was the most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had on a movie, ever. And I’ve done a lot of movies! And this is shaping up in much the same way,” Logan said.

That is largely due to the fact that the man wielding the camera is as much a fan as even the most passionate fanatic sitting in the audience.

“[It] is because it’s a loving, sensitive director who loves the material. It’s producers and a studio who believe entirely in the story we’re telling and it’s leading actors who are a joy to write for. Honestly, because I’ve been working on both Skyfall and the new Bond simultaneously it’s been a really, exuberantly happy time in my life because what I’m actually writing currently brings me incredible joy.”

007 Logo

So, enough of the lovey-dovey Bond talk… where is he on the story?!

“Right now the first draft is almost done. I’m terrifically excited about it! I’ve been working very closely with Sam (Mendes), and it’s been joyous to pick up from our work on Skyfall and just continue on with the storytelling,” Logan said.

“The new movie continues the themes of Skyfall. Some of the characters and themes that we began to introduce in Skyfall will play out, I hope successfully, in the next movie. You ain’t seen nothing yet.”

And he had many lessons from writing those Skyfall quotes that Logan is applying to writing the story of Bond 24, which should be music to fans’ collective ears.

“The great thing about Bond is that I have 50 years of movies -- 23 movies and all the Ian Fleming novels and short stories, all of which are fodder. And when I’m working on the new Bond I’m constantly going back to Fleming and the other movies – what are the bits and pieces, what are the resonances?” Logan said.

“One of the things we learned in Skyfall is that the audience really enjoyed those, they enjoyed when they saw the Aston Martin, they enjoyed when we had references to things they grew up with, either from Ian Fleming or from the other movies, and that’s always been a part of my thinking about Bond.”

While we're waiting for Bond 24, why not go back to the first Daniel Craig Bond masterpiece and watch Casino Royale online!

Maleficent Photo: Angelina Jolie and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt Together!

The first still from Maleficent that features Angelina Jolie as the titular Sleeping Beauty villain and her daughter with Brad Pitt, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, has come online!

Jolie-Pitt stars as the younger version of the Elle Fanning character, who we all know will spend some time sleeping during the film, thanks to Jolie's Maleficent.

We saw a hint of Jolie-Pitt in the Maleficent trailer and it is fantastic to see the mother-daughter tandem in a still all their own. It must be a nice moment in the Jolie-Pitt household… that and that Oscar Brad just won for 12 Years a Slave winning Best Picture!

The photo appeared in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly and if anyone thinks that Vivienne got the job because of who her mother is… well, that’s kind of not quite right, but it is right in a way. Let’s let Jolie tell it…

“The other three and four-year-old [performers] wouldn’t come near me. It had to be a child that liked me and wasn’t afraid of my horns and my eyes and my claws. So it had to be Viv," Jolie admitted.

And some of Jolie’s other children were scared of their mum!

"When Pax saw me for the first time, he ran away and got upset -- and I thought he was kidding, so I was pretending to chase him until I actually found him crying. I had to take off pieces [of the makeup] in front of him to show him it was all fake and not freak out so much."

Maleficent opens in theaters May 30.
