Latest Men In Black 3 Featurette: J-Talking

0
0

I know, I know. You're like, "Why won't Men In Black 3 give me anything in advance of its May 25 release?"

In truth, Columbia has been releasing clips, trailers, pics, and featurettes seemingly daily in anticipation of the sci-fi comedy threequel. And today is no different. The latest from the film is a featurette that highlights some of Will Smiths thoughts on a character he's grown to know pretty well, Agent J.

Of course, 'MIB3' isn't the only alien comedy this summer. There's also The Watch, which stars Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller, and Jonah Hill as suburbanites who accidentally uncover an alien plot that threatens the world. Check out The Watch red band trailer here to compare the two different takes on a similar subject matter.

Which of the two alien comedies are you looking forward to more?

Amazing Spider-Man Director Joins Twitter, Shares Spidey Pic

The Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb has joined Twitter, and his first (and so far only) post is a fun picture, presumably from the set of the film.

Marc Webb Spider-Man twitpic

Unless Andrew Garfield trained really well for his roll as Spidey, this is meant to be the character Peter Parker just hanging out on top of a lamp post. The tweet accompanying the picture simply reads "Peter Parker. Good balance."

The director doesn't expound at all on the photo, so what do you think? Is this a still from The Amazing Spider-Man? It doesn't quite seem to match the look and tone of the Amazing Spider-Man trailer, so perhaps it's a crazy picture from set.

For more from the director, check out our interview with Marc Webb.

After Dark Action Stars Take Us Inside Five Flicks

Movie Fanatic had the good fortune to visit stars of five new films carrying the new After Dark Action moniker. The company is the product of Joel Silver’s Dark Castle Entertainment and After Dark Films. In a brilliant stroke of marketing, the collective that produces only action films (surprise!) is releasing five films on a single day, May 11. We sat down with the stars of this quintet of action this week to take us inside their brave new world.

The Philly Kid
Stars Wes Chatham and Devon Sawa play best friends who may have lost their way at times and spend time in jail. But they never lose sight of their ultimate goal: To win in an MMA-style fighting circuit. For Sawa, the film was right up his alley, both professionally and personally. “It’s an MMA script with a great story, and the rest is history,” he said. “I’ve been training in Muay Thai and Jujitsu and when my agent showed me the script, I was like, ‘Great!’”

Wes Chatham and Devon Sawa in The Philly Kid
What spoke to Chatham about The Philly Kid was the feel of the movie, something he’s sure audiences will also be drawn to. “The gritty and raw power of the fight scenes without much choreography also attracted me to the film,” Chatham said. He also treasured the opportunity to work on a project that saw its mission to present fighting as real as possible. “You feel every punch -- that’s what we were going for. Yes, some of it is choreographed, but much of it plays out so that the audience believes that this is real.”

El Gringo
Yvette Yates walked into our room and her excitement to talk El Gringo was palpable. She felt she identified with her character who runs a Mexican border town bar. A product of El Paso, Yates felt right at home embodying a woman caught in the drug war. “It’s such a different character,” she admitted. “To have the physicality, emotional aspect to it and the dialogue to deliver it to the audience was challenging.”

The film follows a character named The Man, who wanders into the town of El Fronteras trying to get across the border into the U.S. Oh yeah, he has a satchel with $2 million in it… kind of makes things complicated. “It’s really a story with a lot of surprises,” Yates said. Would she like to return to action films for After Dark Action after her first foray in El Gringo? “Absolutely, I would love it.”

Dragon Eyes
Jean-Claude Van Damme and Peter Weller star with UFC fighter Cung Le (who also choreographs the action) in a story about a character (Le) who must only use his fighting skills for good, even as his town of St. Jude is falling into evil hands. Dragon Eyes allowed Kris Van Varenberg to star opposite his father, Van Damme. “My character is similar to the snake in The Jungle Book,” he said and laughed. Unlike his father, Van Varenberg’s not charged with extolling the action in the film. “He’s all talk. When he’s grabbed by the neck he’s like, ‘Please… No!’”

The film, Le promises, will feature action sequences unlike any you have ever witnessed. “You’ve seen all the Western action filmmaking like the Bourne films and Eastern filmmaking like the Shaw Brothers. You gotta see Dragon Eyes because it’s the happy medium between the two styles,” he said.

Jean Claude Van Damme in Dragon Eyes
As he is new to the acting world, you can forgive Le for being a little giddy. “To work alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme and Peter Weller is amazing.”

Transit
After playing inside a courtroom for years on Law and Order, Transit star Elisabeth Rohm quite enjoyed getting into the action film genre for After Dark Action. On the set, witnessing the producer of the Lethal Weapon movies and her co-stars, it truly hit her she had arrived in the world of high action. “Working for Joel Silver and starring opposite Jim Caviezel, James Frain and Harold Perrineau was a dream come true,” she admitted. “It’s nice to be able to kick some ass!”

Slash House
Actors always extol the virtues of playing the villain. It can be so much fun to sink your teeth into someone who is slightly unhinged. That is exactly how Slash House villain Jon Huetas found portraying Ray Jaffe. “To play a bad guy, you can go to the director and say, 'Here’s something crazy that this guy could do,' and usually the director will be more open to it,” Huetas said. “When you’re playing a good guy, you really have to stick to the parameters of what a classic good guy is.”

For the kid who grew up cheering on Dolph Lundgren’s character in Rocky IV, starring opposite the actor was a pinch-me moment. “Working with Dolph was pretty surprising,” Huetas said. It appears all is not what meets the eye when it comes to The Expendables 2 star. “When I met him, he is so put together and so smart. I found out he was a Rhodes Scholar and a chemical engineer before he got the job in Rocky! He’s a highly intelligent man and he’s a freaking bad ass.”

Weekend Movie Preview: May 11, 2012

Will Dark Shadows be able to knock The Avengers from atop the box office charts? That is the big question this weekend in Hollywood as the Tim Burton and Johnny Depp film lands on screens across the land. We’re thinking the Marvel Studios superheroes will still triumph, but Dark Shadows will make a good run at it. A few smaller films also open this weekend and we’ve got your inside look at what’s new at the multiplex this Mother’s Day weekend.

Dark Shadows: Depp and Burton team up for their eighth film together. This time out they are bringing the cult TV show they both adored as kids to the big screen. Depp is a vampire, yes, but he is a family man above all else. After being buried alive for two centuries, he emerges in 1972 and seeks to restore his family name to greatness. As we stated in our Dark Shadows review, Burton has cast brilliantly with Michelle Pfeiffer, Jonny Lee Miller and Eva Green stealing scenes from Depp left and right.

God Bless America: Bobcat Goldthwait wrote and directed this social commentary that is viciously funny. Joel Murray and Tara Lynne Barr star as a couple of disillusioned folks who take changing America quite seriously. Seems when someone is doing something that is not quite right, they get a bullet to the head. Goldthwait has crafted a gem, as we write in our God Bless America review.

Girl in Progress: Eva Mendes stars as a single mother trying her best to raise her thirteen-year-old daughter (Cierra Ramirez). Mendes is meant to be the star of the film, but it is the young actress who steals the show. A perfect film for Mother’s Day as it chronicles the complicated, yet impeccably rewarding, relationship that is mothers and daughters. Check out our Girl in Progress review for more.

The Samaritan: Three Clips From the Film

The Samaritan stars Samuel L. Jackson as an ex-grifter who, after getting out of prison, tries desperately to escape the troubled past that continues to haunt him. Check out three clips from the film below:

The clips offer up some riveting scenes from the film, including an excellent monologue from Academy Award nominee Tom Wilkinson. Wilkinson can also be seen in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel in theaters now.

Jackson, of course, stars as S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury in The Avenger, which is also in currently in theaters, and did so well that The Avengers 2 has already been announced.

The Samaritan is being given an unconventional release, but there are many different ways you can catch the film. It is currently available on SundanceNOW, Cable VOD, Amazon Streaming, iTunes, and XBox Zune, and will receive a limited theatrical release in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago starting May 18th.

Snow White and the Huntsman Clip: A Stroll Through the Enchanted Forest

0

The newest clip from Snow White and the Huntsman shows off some of the more fantastical elements of the film.

The clip takes place in the Enchanted Forest, where magical animals gather around Snow White, the Huntsman, and the Dwarves.

Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, and Charlize Theron headline the Snow White and the Huntsman cast, though this clip highlights some of the dwarves, including Bob Hoskins as Muir, Ian McShane as Beith, and Nick Frost as Nion.

Snow White and the Huntsman can be seen in theaters beginning June 1.

Julianne Moore: Confirmed for Carrie!

Things are about to get pretty scary for Julianne Moore. On the big screen, at least.

The Oscar nominee has signed on to portray Margaret White, the mother in a remake of Carrie, the frightening 1976 film that originally starred Sissy Spacek and Piper Laurie.

Chloe Moretz (Dark Shadows) is set to star as the creepy title character, which seems like ideal casting, doesn't it?

No release date has been set yet, but Kimberly Peirce (Boys Don’t Cry) will direct the horror movie.

The Avengers Banks a Billion: Wins Box Office Again

0
0

For the second week in a row, it was the superheroes of Marvel Studios that ruled the box office as The Avengers banked $103.2 million over the weekend. Most films would kill for that weekend gross as the total amount earned. But, The Avengers has achieved the over $100 million mark with its second week of release! In fact, the film is the first film in history to achieve a $100 million weekend in its second week. Makes you wonder what records are set to fall next week with the Marvel Studios film that won’t quit!

Iron Man and Captain America in The Avengers
In other news, the film passed the billion mark in total earnings in an unprecedented 19 days. Its domestic total clocked in at $373.2 million while internationally it has earned $628.9 million.

Johnny Depp and Tim Burton’s latest film together, Dark Shadows, earned a respectable $28.8 million and finished a distant second. That total is far less than the $116 million they earned on Alice in Wonderland. Think Like a Man continued to impress, landing in third place with $6.3 million and The Hunger Games took fourth with $4.4 million. Slightly behind the Suzanne Collins page to screen effort was The Lucky One with $4.1 million.

Box office top 10:

1. The Avengers, $103.2 million
2. Dark Shadows, $28.8 million
3. Think Like a Man, $6.3 million
4. The Hunger Games, $4.4 million
5. The Lucky One, $4.1 million
6. The Pirates! Band of Misfits, $3.2 million
7. The Five-Year Engagement, $3.1 million
8. The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, $2.7 million
9. Chimpanzee, $1.6 million
10. Girl in Progress, $1.4 million

Mila Kunis Exclusive: Shining a Light on Oz The Great and Powerful

0
0

Mila Kunis is blowing up. There is no better way to describe the career the Ukrainian-born actress has had since first appearing on That ‘70s Show. Since that program ended, she has appeared opposite a who’s-who of movie actors including Denzel Washington, Jason Segel and Mark Wahlberg. Judging by her reaction by simply mentioning James Franco’s name, it appears her co-star in Oz: The Great and Powerful may be her finest moment. “Look, he is incredible,” she then paused and coyly smiled. “You can look back on any interview I’ve ever done where they mention James… and I just light up.”

Sexy Mila Kunis
Movie Fanatic caught up with Kunis in Las Vegas recently to discuss her work on the new Sam Raimi (Spider-Man) film that takes us to the beginning of the story and informs audiences what made The Wizard of Oz, well… Oz.

Kunis portrays an iconic part in the film, but is tight-lipped about much more than that. Yes, we know she plays a witch, but which one? “She’s a good girl,” Kunis admitted and laughed.

Raimi’s film is not a remake of the original in any form. “It’s a modern-day version of it,” Kunis said. Look for viewers to get the inside scoop on The Wizard of Oz story that we don’t know. “It’s going to explain a lot. It's going to ground the story that everybody loves and knows so well. It will ground it in reality.”

Talking to Kunis, it’s hard to say what meant more to her, working with Raimi or a cast that includes Franco, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz and Zach Braff.

When it came to her director, Kunis said that she simply wanted to do everything in her power to realize his astounding vision. “I love Sam. He’s a great person. He’s a brilliant director. He’s so visual. He’s so passionate about everything that he does, that you want to make him happy,” Kunis said.

The artistic process of bringing Oz: The Great and Powerful to life clearly inspired Kunis, as she doesn’t stop at raining praise on her co-stars and director when extolling the virtues of her incredible experience filming the movie. “It was mind-blowing to walk on the set every day and look around at James, Michelle and Rachel,” Kunis said.

“Even forget the cast. Look at our crew. It was top of the line. Every department was the best of the best! At one point James (Franco) and I were riding in one of the carts through Emerald City on the set and we looked at our special effects department. Every single one of those guys has an Oscar. We have the most amazing people working on this film. It was breathtaking. For James and I to legitimately be a part of this, it meant the world.”

First Prometheus Clip: Prometheus Has Landed

(A) Prometheus (clip) has landed!

Yes, the first clip from the highly-anticipated Ridley Scott sci-fi blockbuster Prometheus has hit the internet. It shows the space ship traversing the harsh atmosphere and touching down onto Zeta II Reticuli.

And in just a minute's worth of footage, there's already three pretty awesome lines: "Now that's weather!" "God does not build in straight lines." and "Prometheus has landed." No wonder the film hit number one on our Top 10 Summer Movies list.

Lines that are missing from this clip but are surely in the film include: "Boy this sure is Prometheus!" "I get the feeling we're in a prequel to Alien...sort of!" and "Spring break dance party super okay fun!"

The Prometheus cast features Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, and Charlize Theron. The film hits theaters June 8.

Taylor Lautner to Bounce Off the Walls in Upcoming Parkour Movie

The Cannes Film Festival kicks off this week, and Taylor Lautner will make an appearance (at least an on-screen appearance). Lautner stars in the new film Tracers, as a gang-entangled bike messenger who gets swept up into the world of parkour.

Taylor Lautner in Breaking Dawn Part 1

For those who don't click on youtube clips their friends post on Facebook, parkour is the French art of forgetting your skateboard at home. So Tracers is sure to feature many a scene of Lautner jumping on walls, hopping over fences, climbing up drainpipes, and kissing on supporting actresses.

The film is being shopped to international buyers at this year's Cannes Film Festival. Lautner's Twilight costar Robert Pattinson also has a movie premiering at Cannes, David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis. Watch this Cosmopolis clip for a look at Pattinson's performance.

Film Farces: The Dictator is Only the Latest

0
0

Sacha Baron Cohen is back in theaters May 16 with his latest farce, The Dictator. The creator of Borat and Bruno hopes his latest finds an audience more like the former than the latter. Cohen is only the latest to master the art of the farcical as Hollywood has long taken a skewered look at the world to expose what is so universally wrong with us that we may change through laughter.

The New Team!
One of the greatest, Dr. Strangelove, set the bar pretty high, but since then numerous films have hit our funny bone while parodying the world we live in. Monty Python did it continually through their career, most pointedly at religion in Monty Python and the Meaning of Life. National Lampoon lived up to their name with Vacation as the American classic situation that is the family jaunt was ripe for parody starring Chevy Chase.

Cohen scored immensely in this department with Borat that exposed America to an almost too raw level. Other films have taken a smaller scope and achieved greatness in the farce arena. Most notably, Anchorman's take on the local news scene and the sexual revolution, Best in Show and its look at the dog show industry, Super Troopers and its zinger about law enforcement and Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery scored by lampooning the super spy.

And who could forget the work that Jim Abrahams and David Zucker achieved with their twin towers of bodacious brilliance, The Naked Gun and Airplane!

Movie Fanatic wants to know…

What’s your favorite film farce?

Tina Fey & Paul Rudd Begin Shooting Upcoming Comedy Admission

Admission, a new comedy from Focus Features starring Tina Fey and Paul Rudd, begins filming this week.

Funny Tina FeyPaul Rudd Photo

The film follows Fey's Portia Nathan, a Princeton admissions officer, as she visits an experimental high school (whose founder is played by Rudd), and discovers a forgotten piece of her past. Nathan is a 40-something woman dealing with the idea of motherhood, a theme that Fey is no stranger to (perhaps she's subconsciously trying to act out a childless fantasy).

Fey begins filming shortly after NBC announced that 30 Rock will return for a seventh and final season. Paul Rudd, meanwhile, can be seen in This Is 40 later this year (watch the This Is 40 trailer).

Admission will also feature Michael Sheen and Wallace Shawn, and is being directed by Paul Weitz (Being Flynn). Look for Admission in theaters next year.

The Avengers Quotes: You Think You're the Only Hero in the World?

The Avengers made a billion dollars internationally and domestically in its first few weeks of release. And while the Joss Whedon superhero flick has plenty of awesome action, action alone won't make a billion dollars. The Avengers brings together some of the most beloved Marvel superheroes on one screen, and they all get plenty of cool lines. Of course, Tony Stark has some of the most memorable The Avengers quotes.

Tony Stark: Dr. Banner, your work is unparalleled. And I'm a huge fan of the way you lose control and turn into an enormous green rage monster...
Bruce Banner: Thanks. | permalink

Two New International Posters for G.I. Joe: Retaliation

Two new international posters, one in Spanish and one in Italian, have dropped for the upcoming action film, G.I. Joe: Retaliation (or in this case, G.I. Jose and G.I. Giuseppe).

G.I. Joe: Retaliation International Poster - Spanish

G.I. Joe: Retaliation International Poster - Italian

The posters highlight some of the action-iest action poses from the G.I. Joe: Retaliation cast, including Bruce Willis, Dwayne Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, and Lee Byung-hun.

This followup to 2009's G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra will see the G.I. Joes fighting with evil forces within the government. My guess is they'll be retaliating for something. Maybe for past wrong-doings? Who can say for sure. But we'll all find out when Retaliation opens June 29.

The Good Doctor Trailer: Orlando Bloom Goes Bad

0

Orlando Bloom stars as an ambitious doctor whose obsession with a young patient turns dangerous in The Good Doctor. Watch the trailer below.

Now, I may not understand facetious titles, but I think this so-called "good doctor" could actually be a bad doctor. Unless....are doctors meant to poison your pills? I got kicked out of Med School after one day, so what do I know.

The film actually looks quite gripping, despite my gratuitous mockery. Alongside Bloom, The Good Doctor features Michael Pena (check out the End of Watch trailer for a look at his other upcoming film), Taraji P. Henson (Think Like A Man), and Elvis Presley-granddaughter Riley Keough.

Like The Samaritan, The Good Doctor is receiving an unconventional release. It will be available On Demand beginning July 27, and will open in theaters August 31.

Florence + The Machine have released a new music video for their theme song for Snow White and the Huntsman, entitled "Breath of Life." The video features some of the more dramatic clips from the film.

Snow White and the Huntsman stars Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth as, well, Snow White and the Huntsman, respectively. Charlize Theron also stars as the Evil Queen. Hemsworth of course plays Thor in the Marvel films (Thor 2 and Avengers 2 are both in the works), and he got to keep the long hair for his role as the Huntsman.

Additionally, you can now pre-order tickets to Snow White and the Huntsman via a Facebook app for the film! For a closer look at the film before its June 1 release, check out this Snow White and the Huntsman clip, which reveals the Enchanted Forest and the Dwarves.

Jennifer Lopez Tells Us What to Expect When You're Expecting

Jennifer Lopez is back on screen in What to Expect When You’re Expecting for the first time since 2010’s The Back-up Plan. Lopez is simply one star in the superstar cast that includes onscreen expectant moms Cameron Diaz, Brooklyn Decker, Anna Kendrick and Elizabeth Banks. Lopez talks to Movie Fanatic about the experience of making the movie and how the mother of young twins found it hit especially close to home.

Jennifer Lopez Stars in What to Expect When You're Expecting
Lopez also dishes why she adores romantic comedies, and how director Kirk Jones thought she and her onscreen husband Rodrigo Santoro sold their relationship a little too much!

Movie Fanatic: What is it about romantic comedies that you adore so much -- to watch and appear in?

Jennifer Lopez: I'm a bit of a romantic. I don't know if you've noticed, and I am a little bit funny, maybe you haven't noticed. I think from very early on in my career I've always loved romantic comedies. I just love romantic comedies. I always have. I've been a fan. What movie would I rather watch than any other movie in the world? A romantic comedy. I love the romance. I love the comedy. It does come super natural to me. I don't know why. It's just who I am.

Movie Fanatic: What’s your favorite?

Jennifer Lopez: When Harry Met Sally!

Movie Fanatic: You have impeccable chemistry with your co-star, Rodrigo Santoro. Was that present right away?

Jennifer Lopez: Well I think I was the envy of the cast. I had Rodrigo Santoro to be my husband [laughs]. Right away we just felt like this couple was the couple that everyone liked to hang out with, because they get along. They really love each other. They're doing their thing and they just let it go too long -- now they really have to catch up. I think the funniest thing on set was our very English director, Kirk, kept telling us to stop. That was his direction for us, "Stop touching each other!"

Movie Fanatic: Your character in the movie heads to Africa to adopt. What did it feel like to hold that baby in that scene? It looked magical.

Jennifer Lopez: You fall in love instantly. It really occurred to me, "I can see how somebody can do this." It's so easy to embrace a child that has nothing. It's really a beautiful, selfless act of love. It's funny, you know, before the movie I never really thought about adoption at all.

Movie Fanatic: With all the different looks at pregnancies, how did the movie hit home for you?

Jennifer Lopez: It's funny, I had a C-section, but my sister gave birth six months later. We got pregnant around the same time, and she asked me to be in the delivery room with her, and I was like, "Wow!" Because I had twins it was recommended for me to have a C-section. There was a part of me that was like, "Ugh, I didn't get to do it the way that everybody else does it." When I saw my sister pushing that baby, I was like, "Well, maybe this was alright." [Laughs] That was an experience. I don't know all the details of what happened to me, and I don't need to.

Movie Fanatic: The book that What to Expect is based on is a sensation. Did you utilize it while you were pregnant?

Jennifer Lopez: Well, I found the book to be so incredibly accurate when I was pregnant. I just see why everybody has this book, and why it’s the first thing you get when you find out that you're pregnant. It just takes you through everything. I even remember after reading the book, because I was in my bed with these twins, and I had a C-section, so I was obviously in a lot of pain, I was like, "No pain killers." I'm going crazy from the pain, and I want to hold the babies, but I can't because it hurts too much. So, I have this baby nurse helping out, and I say to Marc at the time, "The babies don't love me and they're not going to know me. They're going to love the nurse." I start crying and the whole thing and he goes, "The babies love you. Trust me. They don't even know anything yet." But, whenever I opened the book, it was like, "That's what's happening to me!" It made it so much better.

Movie Fanatic: As we’ve seen in the What to Expect When You’re Expecting trailer, the dads' group is hilarious. What did you make of that element when you read the script?

Jennifer Lopez: Yeah, with the dads' group I thought that was pretty genius. Dads, who are really involved dads and good dads, need other dads to kind of help them through. I thought that was a really good addition to this type of movie. That's what I kind of loved about the movie too. It wasn't just the typical what you think men would do, because that's not always what they do. Sometimes they show up.

Movie Fanatic: You didn’t really get to work with the other expectant moms in the movie, did you?

Jennifer Lopez: None of us ever worked together [laughs]! I worked with Brooklyn (Decker) for a minute. But I didn't get to work with the other belly people!

Movie Fanatic: It's been a great crazy year. How does it work appearing on American Idol, filming What to Expect When You’re Expecting and planning a tour?

Jennifer Lopez: It feels good. I'm a little bit tired right now. I'm not going to lie [laughs]. I just feel really in the zone: Rehearsing, doing Idol, promoting this movie. I feel really blessed.

The Devil Inside Experience: Celebrating Blu-Ray

0

Movie Fanatic braved the haunted halls of Los Angeles’ haunted Linda Vista Hospital to experience the unexplainable, and while we’re at it learn more about the found footage flick The Devil Inside. To mark the Blu-Ray and DVD release today of the smash film from January 2012, Paramount Home Media took us on a field trip that was reminiscent of the feel and horror of The Devil Inside.

Bonnie Morgan in The Devil Inside
The hospital opened in 1904 and was eventually shut down in the 1980s. Since then, neighbors and workers at the facility (it’s been deemed a historical landmark) have spoken of the unexplained. We heard of happenings as mild as hair being pulled to a voice calling out a name that turns out to be the name of a doctor murdered in the building’s parking lot. Also, we witnessed rooms that were broken into where sacrifices took place.

Our first video captures our experience as The Devil Inside comes to life…

After a tour and a few chilling moments that had us screaming like a little girl, Movie Fanatic spoke to two cast members from The Devil Inside. First was Suzan Crowley, who plays Maria Rossi, a woman who executed three church workers while they were trying to exorcise her. We also caught up with Bonnie Morgan, whose character Rosa caused chills in The Devil Inside trailers. You know her! She’s the one who contorts in the most inhuman of ways as a possessed soul in one of the film’s pivotal scenes.

And yes… Movie Fanatic felt much better after being blessed by a priest on our way out!

Don’t forget to check out my exclusive interviews with The Devil Inside's star and creators: Fernanda Andrade, William Brent Bell and Matthew Peterman.
