Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum are heading back to high school in the comedy crime thriller 21 Jump Street. The film arrives March 16 and takes the classic 1980s TV hit starring Johnny Depp into the 21st century. We’ve got four new stills from the film, the first being a hilarious shot of Tatum and Hill in their high school days.
The guys who were not the best of friends in high school have bonded over the stress of the police academy. Upon graduation, the pair are teamed up and we get to see them in their best blues below.
Soon after, Tatum and Hill are sent undercover in a local high school to stop a drug ring. As we’ve seen in the 21 Jump Street trailer, the filmmakers are not afraid to shy away from joking at the pair’s age and how much they stand out as not looking like high school students. Ice Cube plays their boss and in the next still, he’s dishing the details of their assignment.
Finally, as we can see from the photo below, the pair fit right in and as it appears to be in the still, they are quite the popular “kids.”
