Warner Bros. has released the first movie poster for Rian Johnson’s Looper. The film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the younger version of Bruce Willis. Movie Fanatic spoke exclusively with Johnson and Gordon-Levitt at this year’s Wonder Con and it’s finally nice to have a poster of the film to share with everyone.
The film follows the idea that in the future, time travel exists. It’s illegal to use it, for obvious reasons -- can you imagine how much havoc the average person could create? So now, only the mob utilizes it to “take care of their problems.” By going back in time the mob utilizes Gordon-Levitt’s assassin, or Looper, to wipe out the problem from ever rearing its head in the future. What happens when Willis is sent back and his target is his younger self?
The mind-bending suspense thriller arrives in theaters September 28 and also features Emily Blunt, Paul Dano and Jeff Daniels.
