After visiting with filmmaker Rian Johnson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt for an exclusive chat at Wonder Con, our anticipation for their film Looper is palpable. Both director and star are on hand in a video that teases their new film's trailer premiere on April 12. The film is a mind-bender of the highest order as Gordon-Levitt is a mob assassin living in the past with a future that exists where time travel is real. Only thing, it is illegal. The mob uses it though for the most precise of purposes: Killing anyone in their present that is a problem.
Bruce Willis portrays Gordon-Levitt in the future and things are dandy for the younger version of the character until Willis shows up to knock him off.
Looper hits theaters September 28 and also stars Paul Dano, Emily Blunt, Piper Perabo and Jeff Daniels.
