Channing Tatum told us in our Haywire interview about how Magic Mike came to be. The story of his humble male stripper beginnings caught the ear of director Steven Soderbergh. He encouraged Tatum to put pen to paper and the next thing you know, Warner Bros. is releasing two new stills from the drama-comedy that hits theaters June 29. "I'm like, 'Yeah, Steven Soderbergh, I'll go write that,'" Tatum recalled when the esteemed helmer told him to write his stripper story.
