Orlando Bloom stars as an ambitious doctor whose obsession with a young patient turns dangerous in The Good Doctor. Watch the trailer below.
Now, I may not understand facetious titles, but I think this so-called "good doctor" could actually be a bad doctor. Unless....are doctors meant to poison your pills? I got kicked out of Med School after one day, so what do I know.
The film actually looks quite gripping, despite my gratuitous mockery. Alongside Bloom, The Good Doctor features Michael Pena (check out the End of Watch trailer for a look at his other upcoming film), Taraji P. Henson (Think Like A Man), and Elvis Presley-granddaughter Riley Keough.
Like The Samaritan, The Good Doctor is receiving an unconventional release. It will be available On Demand beginning July 27, and will open in theaters August 31.
