Dominic Cooper (Mamma Mia) is now set to star in the new film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - it's a done deal, according to THR.
Apparently, director Timur Bekmambetov has decided to go with lesser-known actors for his new film.

We previously reporter Joaquin Phoenix was in talks to play Henry Sturges in the film, but that's no longer happening.
According to the mag, Fox is in final negotiations with Cooper to play Henry Sturges opposite Benjamin Walker, who was cast as Abraham Lincoln last month.
Sturges trains Lincoln to be a vampire hunter extraordinaire in the new film that takes on a very interesting rendition of what really happened during the civil war - brace yourselves... it involved vampires.
No word on an official release date yet.
