A lot of recent movies are taking on the theme of aliens. There's Men In Black 3, The Watch, the not-quite-Alien-prequel Prometheus, and of course What To Expect When You're Expecting. Those ladies are giving birth to alien babies right? Maybe I misunderstood the trailer.
But Battleship, opening tomorrow, gets the jump on them all. A new featurette, released in advance of the premier, shows how the Navy helped in the film's production.
Soldiers gave the Battleship cast and crew the rundown on how things work on an actual battleship, and to return the favor, director Alex Berg put them in the film. The soldiers claim to have let the film crew in on some secret information, but then, they put it in a video and threw it on the internet, so hopefully it's nothing too classified!
Battleship stars Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgard, and Rihanna as Soldiers who must battle extraterrestrial forces to save the Earth from ultimate destruction.
