Total Recall TV Spot: What is Real?

I've done enough Total Recall "implanted memory" jokes for one lifetime, but they're making it hard to avoid. The new Total Recall TV spot starts off exactly like the old one, but now instead of asking Kate Beckinsale's character why she's trying to kill him, Colin Farrell asks why "they're" trying to kill him. I'm starting to feel a lot like Quaid.

Total Recall is technically a remake of the 1990 film of the same name, but it draws much more strongly from the Philip K. Dick story, We Can Remember It For You Wholesale, on which the original film was based. One of the most adapted authors in film history, Dick also wrote the story that served as the basis for Blade Runner (Speaking of, there is a Blade Runner sequel in the work).

Total Recall stars Farrell, Beckinsale, and Jessica Biel, and is directed by Len Wiseman. For a longer preview, check out the Total Recall trailer, and look for the film in theaters August 3.
