A new TV spot for The Amazing Spider-Man features some insights from director Marc Webb about the IMAX 3D viewing experience. Check it out:

The director promises that some of the more awesome action sequences were shot specifically for IMAX 3D, and that the film's finale will "blow you away." Hopefully Webb isn't speaking in that ironic 'hint-hint' lilt that comic book villains love to use, revealing his plan to actually blow audiences up during the finale in an attempt at world domination.
I'm sure he's not though. You're probably fine. You should see it in IMAX 3D. Seriously. What are the odds?
The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, and Rhys Ifans as The Lizard. It opens in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D (if you dare) on July 3.
