The first TV spot for Django Unchained is maybe the best glimpse yet at the upcoming revenge film. It looks to be a really interesting combination of the anti-Westerns of the 1960's and 70's, and the heavily stylized "grindhouse" style Tarantino is famous for. Take a look:
Django Unchained stars Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave freed by a bounty hunter named Dr. Schultz (played by Christoph Waltz), in order to help him seek a ruthless gang of killers that only Django has seen. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as a plantation owner named Calvin Candie, with Samuel L. Jackson as Candie's "house slave."
DiCaprio is also set to star in The Great Gatsby, which opens on the very same day as Django. Jackson, meanwhile, has just come off one of the biggest films of all time, The Avengers (stick Nick Fury on your desktop with The Avengers wallpaper).
