There's no better day for an old-timey horror trailer than today: Friday the 13th. With that, check out the Frankenweenie "homage" trailer from Comic-Con:
Frankenweenie is the latest film directed by Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter producer Tim Burton. A stop-motion remake of his 1984 live-action short film, Frankenweenie tells the story of a young boy who uses science to revive his dead dog Sparky. When Sparky gets loose, he creates havoc in the town.
Charlie Tahan, Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Landau, and Martin Short lend their voices. Short has done a lot of voice work this year, having just starred in the animated film Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted.
Frankenweenie premieres October 5. For more, check out the Frankenweenie poster.
