Stand-up Comedian Bill Burr is set to join the cast of Paul Feig's new buddy cop film, tentatively titled The Heat. The Bridesmaids director will reunite with star Melissa McCarthy, who had some amazing Bridesmaids quotes, for the new comedy.
McCarthy will star alongside Sandra Bullock as a Boston cop and FBI agent, respectively, who team up to take down a Russian Mobster. Burr will play McCarthy's brother.
Having been thrust into the spotlight after Bridesmaids, McCarthy has been a busy lady, starring in the hit TV show Mike & Molly, and appearing later this year in This is Forty.
Burr, not known for his big-screen abilities, does have some acting experience. He appeared in, among other things, 2010's Date Night, and the last season of Breaking Bad.
