Outtakes can be really, really hilarious, but I have to be honest, I don't like watching them during the credits. I've spent the last 2 hours suspending my disbelief, and as soon as the movie ends, you show me the man behind the curtain. It ruins the experience for me.
That's why this outtakes reel from The Watch is so great. It gives us a little taste of the comedy, a little peek behind the scenes, and it does it before the film even comes out. Check out the outtakes reel, with a forward by director Akiva Schaffer:
The Watch stars Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill, Richard Ayoade, and Vince Vaughn as a group of suburban guys who start a neighborhood watch program, only to discover an alien plot to take over the world.
With four amazing comedic actors at the wheel, and a man whose been involved in some of the best work SNL has produced in the last decade behind the camera, The Watch is sure to be a win.
