Director Jay Roach (Meet the Parents, Austin Powers movies) is a perfect person to helm the comic mayhem. The film is timely with the big election year upon us, and lives up to the hype.
The Bourne Legacy: Renner is an outstanding actor to be chosen to take over the Bourne franchise started by Matt Damon. If possible, he is even more lethal and even more emotive than Damon was as Jason Bourne. Renner’s Aaron Cross, especially in scenes with Rachel Weisz, is explosive. Hope Springs: Streep and Jones do seem like an odd pair. But, that is exactly why their new film works.
