Top Gun is back! The film that helped to launch the careers of Tom Cruise, Jerry Bruckheimer (okay, he'd been producing films for about 10 years prior), and the late great Tony Scott is getting the full high-def blu-ray 3D treatment early next year.
In honor of the remastered DVD, Top Gun will also hit 3D IMAX theaters for a special six-day event. Fans of the classic Naval pilot action movie can relive the magic beginning February 8, 2013.
Since the original release of Top Gun, Cruise has of course become one of the biggest movie stars of all time. The Oblivion trailer for his new futuristic sci-fi thriller just dropped yesterday.
