We've always known the basics of Steven Soderbergh's new film Side Effects (well, not always, only since we've known about the movie). It's a psychological thriller, with a plot involving pharmaceutical abuse, and some sex and intrigue.
The new 2-minute UK trailer shows us a lot more of the plot, filling us in on some of the previously-hazy details. Take a look:
Soderbergh reunites with Channing Tatum, after last year's Magic Mike, who stars as Martin, a married man who is sent to jail. While his wife Emily, played by Rooney Mara (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), waits for his return, she sinks into a deep depression and seeks solace in an untested drug.
Jude Law (Rise of the Guardians), Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Vinessa Shaw also star. Side Effects hits theaters February 8.
