While The Shining is well known as one of the best horror films ever made, there is a lot of underlying mystery surrounding the film. In the thirty-plus years since the its release, The Shining has been the center of numerous conspiracy theories, including one that claims The Shining is Kubrick's confession to faking the Moon Landing concurrent with directing 2001: A Space Odyssey.
The film includes footage from The Shining as well as interviews with Kubrick enthusiasts, who discuss these theories.
Room 237 will be available on VOD and in limited release on March 29.
