For non Wesley Snipes superfans, Gallowwalkers is a Zombie Western that was shot a few years ago, just as Snipes was getting into legal trouble over his taxes. The film never saw the light of day, but now it's gearing up for release this year.
It's only fitting that a Zombie film like this should have to die and come back to life. Check out the trailer for Gallowwalkers:
Perhaps the decision to release the film now has something to do with the success of another pulpy, gorey Western with an African American lead, Django Unchained. The film stars Snipes as Aman, who carries a curse that all those he kills will come back to life as zombies and pursue him for revenge.
Andrew Goth directs the film, which also stars Tanit Phoenix, Riley Smith, Kevin Howarth and Patrick Bergin. There is no specific release date set.
