Kirsten Dunst and Jim Sturgess sit with Movie Fanatic for an exclusive video interview to talk about their new wildly original film.

They star in the most unique of romances, teased in the Upside Down trailer. Sturgess is Adam, while Dunst is Eden (inspired by the oldest story known to man?). The two live on separate planets who share an atmosphere. One thing they don't share is gravity. Each world has the opposite gravitational pull as the other. We meet the two as teenagers who happen to be at the highest point of each of their worlds and... they fall in love.

We will not give away any more than that as the movie is visually and emotionally as innovative as seen in some time. Dunst and Sturgess found the experience making Upside Down as different as any they'd experienced prior. And this from Dunst who famously starred in Melancholia and Sturgess in Cloud Atlas.

"It was a simple story, but with these elements that I couldn't even imagine," Dunst admitted. "It had such a fairy tale uniqueness to it that I had never seen or heard of anything like this. I knew that he (director Juan Solanas) wanted to make something truly special."

Sturgess concurred. "I agree, it felt like a fairy tale that I should have heard of as a kid," he added. Both actors had to trust their helmer that his vision would come to life. "It was hard to understand it, just from the words on the page."

Dunst did admit that even though the acting amongst special effects was a challenge, as it always is, her biggest difficulty might surprise. "The hardest thing I had to do was learn the tango," she said and laughed.
