It looks like Jennifer Garner is not having a Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, because she is in talks to join the cast of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day!
The live-action adaptation of the popular 1972 children's book, written by Judith Viorst and illustrated by Ray Cruz. The film will tell the story of a boy whose day starts bad from the moment he wakes up, and just keeps on getting worse.
Steve Carell (Anchorman) is attached to star as Alexander's dad. Garner would play his mom.
Cedar Rapids director Miguel Arteta will take the helm, with the script written by Rob Lieber. Production is set to begin this fall.
