Peeples features The Office funnyman Craig Robinson in his first leading man role, and boy does he excel! In honor of the arrival of the latest film from Tyler Perry Presents, Movie Fanatic presents an exclusive giveaway as one lucky reader will receive a prize pack that gets our readers closer to the heartfelt hilarity.
The contest winner will receive two teaser posters, with each featuring a close-up of each of the film’s two stars -- Robinson and Kerry Washington (Scandal) -- as well as the official Peeples poster, the second teaser poster, a Peeples T-shirt and tote bag.
As teased in the Peeples trailer, Wade Walker (Robinson) is living the blissful life with his live-in girlfriend Grace (Washington). He thinks everything is fine. That is, until she has to head home to visit her parents at their Hamptons home and she insists that Wade has no need to make this particular trip as the Moby Dick-themed weekend would not interest him.
When Wade surprises her by showing up unannounced, sparks fly as he learns that in fact, Grace has not even told her parents (the hilarious David Alan Grier and S. Epatha Merkerson) that he exists!
Peeples features an all-star cast including the incomparable Diahann Carroll and Melvin Van Peebles. The film is written by Tina Gordon Chism (Drumline) and could easily be one of the summer’s biggest surprises (stay tuned for our review premiering May 10).
