Chris Hemsworth returns to star as the Asgardian hero. Set one year after The Avengers, Thor must battle an evil force to save the universe from being plunged into darkness.
Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard, Idris Elba (Pacific Rim), Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Zachary Levi, Ray Stevenson (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), Jamie Alexander, Rene Russo, and Anthony Hopkins also star.
Alan Taylor directs the film, which premieres November 8.
