According to the new TV spot for Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim, “It’s on!”
It’s hard to believe that we’re merely weeks away from getting to see the film that lands July 12. That’s a long time since we visited with Guillermo del Toro talking Pacific Rim at Comic Con last year.
Judging by the effects that are on full display in this latest teaser, the man has been busy since we met him in San Diego in July of 2012.
The story follows what happens when aliens invade from the oceans so humans build giant robots to battle them. The action fest has the feel of a Godzilla movie, but so, so much more.
Since the first Pacific Rim trailer landed, we have been in utter awe of the footage, but this new teaser has to take the cake.
Pacific Rim stars Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, Ron Perlman and Rinko Kikuchi.
