The Family has unveiled three new clips to give audiences a varied look at the new mob thriller-comedy from director Luc Besson (The Fifth Element).
As shown in The Family trailer, Robert De Niro stars as the patriarch of a family on the run because he was forced to rat out his family and their mob dealings. Michelle Pfeiffer stars as his wife (who might we say is Married to the Mob -- again) and Dianna Agron is his daughter, while John D’Leo plays his son.
As you can see in the following clip, the apple does not fall far from the tree when it comes to De Niro’s kids... especially Glee star Agron.
Tommy Lee Jones stars in the next clip, as the Justice Department official charged with ensuring that De Niro’s family stays safe. The former crime clan makes it kind of difficult for Jones’ character, and as the movie begins, they have been forced to move from the South of France to Normandy due to a few “problems” at their old locale.
In our final clip, what can be said… other than it is always a joy watching De Niro play to his persona as the man in Hollywood most identified with the mob!
Look for The Family when it lands in theaters September 13. And don’t miss yesterday’s premiere of a fantastic De Niro The Family photo.
