Walt Disney has released two new John Carter clips (right after their IMAX poster release) that really put the storyline into some context. The first clip is called He Arrives and shows John Carter immediately after he is mysteriously transported to Mars from his Civil War era home.
The second John Carter TV spot is entitled Lost and takes viewers into what has happened to Carter since that fateful awakening on the Mars desert floor.
John Carter arrives in 3D on March 9 (also in IMAX 3D) and has a stellar cast including Mark Strong (don’t miss our exclusive video interview with him), Taylor Kitsch as the titular hero, Willem Dafoe, Thomas Hayden Church and Bryan Cranston.
John Carter is based on the novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs and if successful, could easily be an ongoing series.
