Emma Watson returns to the screen in The Perks of Being a Wallflower after playing Hermione Granger for years. The film has released a series of stills featuring Watson as a teenager attempting to navigate the perils of those trying years.
Perks of Being a Wallflower is based on the bestselling novel by Stephen Chbosky about a reserved, yes… Wallflower, who is trapped between living his life and attempting to get away from it.
Chbosky not only wrote the novel, but also composed the screenplay and is directing the film.
Perks of Being a Wallflower features an all-star cast beyond the superstar in Watson. It also features Logan Lerman (The Three Musketeers), Ezra Miller (We Need to Talk About Kevin), Mae Whitman (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World), Kate Walsh, Nina Dobrev, Paul Rudd and Dylan McDermott.
Look for Perks to be released in the U.S. sometime in 2012.
