Noticeably absent from this year’s Wonder Con was Marvel’s The Avengers. The Anaheim Convention Center was pulsating with news on The Amazing Spider-Man, Prometheus and Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. The Joss Whedon written and directed superhero conclave that arrives May 4 will already by out when Comic Con arrives this summer. Could these fan fest absences be because the movie literally sells itself? You bet! That and the gradual teases Marvel parent Disney has released as the days inch closer to release date. Just today, Movie Fanatic received five new images featuring Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr. and the evil Loki (Tom Hiddleston).
