No, Killing Them Softly is in fact a new crime drama starring Brad Pitt, Richard Jenkins, Ray Liotta, and James Gandolfini. The film follows Pitt as an enforcer who is tracking down two criminals who held up a Mafia poker game.
Jenkins, a seasoned veteran of both comedy and drama, also appeared earlier this year in Jos Whedon deconstructed horror film, The Cabin in the Woods (check out some Cabin in the Woods quotes). Liotta himself is no stranger to mob films, having taken off after his starring role in 1990's Goodfellas, but the year prior to that saw Liotta play Shoeless Joe Jackson in the classic Field of Dreams (explore our Field of Dreams quotes page here).
