Gone & Man on a Ledge: Two Summit Sizzlers Land on Blu-Ray

Summit Entertainment has two thrillers arriving on Blu-Ray and DVD May 29, Man on a Ledge and Gone, and both find unique ways to cast a spell of suspense.

Man on a Ledge
Sam Worthington is astounding in this wrongly accused man who demands justice flick that finds a way to tell its story that is refreshingly new.

Man on a Ledge Blu-Ray

Worthington’s character was sent to jail for a crime he says he didn’t commit. When he breaks out of prison, he makes a beeline for a Manhattan luxury hotel where he checks into an upper floor room, orders a meal and heads out on the titular ledge. What on earth is he doing? You have to check out the film to see because its twists and turns come at the audience with sensational surprise.

The cast is top notch featuring Elizabeth Banks playing against type, Ed Burns (don’t miss our exclusive interview with him) doing his crisp cop thing, Ed Harris as a slick businessman whose ties to Worthington run deep, Jamie Bell as Worthington’s brother and Genesis Rodriguez as Bell's all-too-willing-to-help girlfriend.

Gone
Amanda Seyfried portrays a woman who believes her sister has been abducted by a serial killer. Seems her character was nabbed by the maniac a few years ago, and she managed to escape. Only, there was no proof that this abduction ever happened, so cops don’t believe her that her sister is… Gone!

The film also stars Daniel Sunjata (Grey’s Anatomy), Sebastian Stan and Wes Bentley and should further Seyfried’s skyrocketing journey to the A-list.

Although the plot is thin at times, the overall story is fascinating and as executed by director Heitor Dhalia, it pulsates. And don’t miss our exclusive interview with Seyfried below!
