In High School, my improv club sold gourmet lollipops to raise money for our yearly show. And I hated doing it. Little did I know that all the teachers were moonlighting as MMA fighters to save extra-curriculars! Now I feel bad for moping around about the lollies.
Check out the first trailer for Here Comes The Boom, starring Kevin James, who also co-wrote the screenplay, as a high school biology teacher who starts competing as a mixed martial artist in order to save the music program from cancellation.
Here Comes the Boom also stars Selma Hayek, Henry Winkler, and Joe Rogan. It is directed by Frank Coraci, known for such comedies as The Wedding Singer, Zookeeper, and Waterboy (check out some Waterboy quotes).
